Fostering A Sense of Belonging in a Polarized Society
In partnership with the Calgary Interfaith Council, the Bahá’í Community of Calgary presents our annual interfaith panel discussion. Representatives of various world religions will speak to our theme, and participate in a open discussion following the formal presentations.
Fariborz Birjandian, a member of the Calgary Bahá’í community, and retired CEO of CCIS (Calgary Catholic Immigration Society), will share the Bahá’í perspective.
Everyone is welcome to attend. This is an online event.
Friday January 16, 23 & 30
Open to all – no background or belief required.
Hosted by Bahá’í community members, this gathering offers a welcoming space for people of diverse faiths and perspectives to reflect together on spiritual and moral questions that shape our lives. Through a short reading and open conversation, we explore shared values in a spirit of listening, curiosity, and mutual respect.

We are shaped by belonging. What helps us feel we belong? Where do you feel a true sense of belonging? What makes spaces feel safe, welcoming, or human?
