Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program

When youth become agents of positive change.

The Junior Youth (JY) Spiritual Empowerment Program recognizes the critical importance of young people’s challenges. Geared for those aged 11-14, this program engages the JY in a wide range of activities, including the study of spiritual concepts, exploration of the arts and service to the community.

Northwest Calgary

Northwest Junior Youth Group

This group of enthusiastic JY get together every week on Friday evening. They study, they play, they plan service activities, but most importantly, they laugh – A LOT! With their devoted animators, Adeeb, Liam and Bayaan, these junior youth are learning to navigate the complex world around them by making good choices and building lasting friendships.

Southwest Calgary

South Spiritual Enrichment Classes!

Welcome! Our South group of Friends meets every week on Friday evenings to gather as a committed group of like-minded friends to pray together and work towards our community’s betterment.  Our weekly meetings ensure the common elements of devotions, education, arts, comradeship, and community building! Our gathering members aged 11 – 14 can join the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program with our animators, Ms. Nava and Ms. Shayda. Our classes are always followed by snacks, and the youth often participate in service by assisting with clean up or playing a game after classes.
